Tainan City noise monitoring plan

Absrtact	This plan is to complete the operation and public pleads in the noise monitoring of Tainan City applied in the mobile environment, the traffic sounds inspection, the vehicles operating in-situ noise gauging and the aviation noise gauging. It also coordinates to achieve the noise regulations done by the Environmental Protection Administration of the Executive Yuan. The monitoring result in the environment and the traffic sounds conformed to the control standard in the 4th seasons of year 2010 and the 1st and 2nd and 3rd seasons of year 2011. The environment and the traffic sound pleading cases; monitoring were 7 times monitoring operation. There were 2 cases resulting from traffic sounds and 3 cases from environmental noise volumes and 2 cases from super high way sounds. In the vehicles operating in-situ noise gauging part, there were requested 45 times in the Noise Monitoring of Vehicles, in which 18 times recalled the examination from the regulation section. The total examination number was 450 times, unqualified was 102 times, the improved vehicle numbers altogether was 47, unqualified or the website reporting not yet returned for examining altogether was 49. In addition, with the EPA 99 years, "the use of a large motorcycle noise enforcement inspection plan," the handling, routine monthly screenings in the city, the further increase of 5 times Noise Monitoring of Vehicles in holiday. There were all together 3 times Public Educational Guidance of the Noise Monitoring of Vehicles. The first were the amplified equipments which took 28.2% with 592 cases, the second were power machines which took 21.4% with 449 cases and the third were others which took 16.6% with 349 cases.In Tainan city, the petition noise ratio in the top five followed by Western District(39.08%), North District(34.12%), Anping District(32.56%), Eastern District(31.05%) and yujing District (27.08%).
